Hello i would just like to post these up, I am making a mining game similar to MotherLoad, and these are some of the icons, can anyone look at theme and rate them 1-10?


also if you like them feel free to use to but please if you could credit me it would be appreciated :)

I have no idea what MotherLoad is but these look alright. Personally, I would reduce the saturation of colors of the sand? I suppose is what it is.

Perhaps add an extra color to the stone to give it a grainy feel.

its dirt :/ Dirt, Iron in the ground, and Iron after you mine it, if you take the icons and put them together it makes it look a lot better xD

The dirt looks far too noisy and distracting, tone it down. The iron veins look nothing like iron veins actually look, perhaps use some reference. Now for the ores, they look flatter the Keira knightley's tits.

Dirt doesn't necessarily have to be overly saturated. I just attribute that kind of palette to the Narto rips I've seen so much. Plus, like Mecha said...
