Complaining doesn't do much though. I'd happily clean up your PC but obviously it is up to you or someone around you. Could be Spyware/Adware causing your problems, try Spybot Search and Destroy. Maybe even a virus or trojan, I use ESET Smart Security. | |

But sending BYOND pager to many people at once, mostly to friend, to make them aware of my game being done. Feed tab if only for followers and not friend or such.

OUYA can run on BYOND. Mabye BYOND should join up with OUYA to increase the number of developers to make good games. Just throwing around an idea. Either way BYOND engine plus OUYA console would be something, no?

Hm. Well, if so many people are still on the older pager, maybe there's a way the Fund-o-meter, or even just something like a message in the news (which I know the older pager shows) like...
BYOND has X of Y, Donate at least $1-2 now so BYOND can keep on going! could be shown? We need something to, well, for lack of better words... Hit every single user of BYOND right in the face with the general idea. If you want to make it less 'annoying' for stubborn people, you could even try to slip in some humor. Maybe something like "Come on, it's like a 99 cent menu for an all you can play game buffet" or something, haha. I don't know, the message just needs to get out there to a wider range of users, and the more humorous and/or beneficial it seems to the ones viewing it the better. Edit: Another quick thing. I remember a lot of the push to update from 3.5 to 4.0 came from not being able to join games using 4.0, so would it be possible to have a setting where BYOND Developers can make their game 'force' a player to update by not allowing them to play if they're not using the new pager? Some games may choose to do this, and it may help. | |

Oh so you did that for the sole purpose of stopping page spammers? Well, I'll agree with that. I don't have any reason to complain anymore if it's to stop spammers :P

Err, are you sure about that? The OUYA runs on Android and uses an ARM processor, both of which are things the BYOND software is not compatible with.

Sorry I meant BYOND can run on OUYA since its simply put a computer for TV. No I haven't tested that. But once I can I want to try it on OUYA.

It's more like, an Android phone/tablet for your TV, without touch screen. BYOND is not built for Android; it will never run on OUYA. | |
I have a computer for a TV. It's an actual PC.
BYOND won't run on the OUYA because, as LordAndrew said, it's a different kind of computer that simply can't. An Xbox is also a computer for a TV, basically. | |
Honestly, if I was unaware, the BYOND fundraiser meter looks like another one of those random annoying ads. I wouldn't pay much attention to it. Get some pixel artists on that. Get a Goku(look-alike -AHEM-) to be "Kamehameha-ing the meter. I would be attracted to that.

It probably isn't as easy as it looks, I imagine it has to be sliced so the bar fills up but I don't know for sure. One recommendation from a web developer would be to change the color to a more eye pleasing, mind altering color. Green is a better color as it not only attracts the eye but gives the sense of "go", Yellow is another color as it gives the sense of urgency. | |

Well that is a singular problem, no offense, just because it doesn't work for you doesn't mean it is bad.
It is working fine for me, all this means is you need to upgrade your PC, dual cores just don't do it anymore.
You might also want to try removing all the old byond configs and re-installing, that might help.
But a malfunctioning PC is no reason to blame the pager, which gives others no issues.
