You should specify the date, because even that statement can be translated in different ways.
Midnight the 30th, or Midnight the 1st? Sunday night at midnight would technically be the former, but I'm not sure that's what you want to convey. | |

Sunday. Midnight. Seriously, there is no confusing that unless you want to be confused. Look up the definition of midnight if you need a refresher on how to tell time. :P

The clock runs from 0:00 to 23:59. Just throwing that out there.

Midnight means the beginning of the next day, so it's not exactly clear. You could be saying that the contest ends at the end of Sunday night, when Monday begins, or that it ends when Sunday starts, which would be tonight at midnight.
It's actually more ambiguous than you think. 6/30/2013 at midnight would be the latter, but I'm not sure that's what you want to say. It would be smarter to say something like "6/29/2013 at 11:59 PM". | |

I was right in my suspicions then. Sunday night at midnight, or 12 AM pacific time on 6/30/13, has already passed.
The contest actually ends on 7/1/13 at 12 AM. Maybe it is you that needs to look up the definition of midnight. This is why it's important to be as specific as possible. You managed to confuse me, because there are at least two ways to interpret "Sunday night at midnight". You interpreted it as 6/30/13 at night when it changes to the next day. I interpreted it literally, which would be a time that has already passed at 12 AM 6/30/13. | |
