Evening! I've got a decent gaming PC that I don't use anymore that I'm attempting to setup as a personal dedicated server for Space Station 13. I've got all the files compiled and I am able to run and join the server; but only locally with that machine/host.
Does one need two separate Byond accounts? One to host the dedicated server, and another separate account to join? I don't receive any errors or anything when I attempt to log into my Byond account from two different IPs, but I'm curious if this would cause any issues?
Now, of course am still unable to join my dedicated server. The error is something along the lines of "Port XXXXX is unable to be joined by players". I suspect this is related port forwarding that I'm still working on (which I'll update on once I get corrected). Do people who are fluent in Byond think this may be the issue aswell?
[EDIT]
I should mention that my main question is "Do I need two seperate Byond Accounts? One for Dedicated Host and another for Playing?"
I figure once I resolve the Port Forwarding issue that I'll be able to connect fine.
