I'm in the process of job-hunting (I already have a job, but whether or not I'm going to stay on after June is up in the air at this point). One of cool things about being into video & film production is that you get to send a demo reel of your work along with your resume to potential employers.

I've created a DVD demo reel, but I've also posted a cut down version of it on my website along with my resume. From everything that I've heard, most employers form their opinions about you based upon the first 30 seconds of your demo reel. If they don't like what they see then they're likely to hit the power button. Therefore, I've composed a short 45-second demo reel that will *hopefully* grab their attention as the first thing that they see:

My fast and furious 45-second demo reel.

Nice I like it. Love the music.
Nice compilation of fast paced snippets, captures your style quite well. I like. :D

Impressive resume too.

I think Elation is awesome. <3

I wonder about the lightsaber scenes. They might come of as uncreative and overdone. They are embedded with other things, which do show creativity, so perhaps they will enhance.

I really don't know though, I am not on the movie business, and the closest I have gotten is when we stayed the night in an actors school at the beach(That place was sweet, and huge, lots of fun movie props to play with, like breakaway sticks that look solid).

Good luck.
Looks good!

Also, you REALLY need to make more Control Room episodes, if you haven't. The Brian character really cracked me up. That poor freshman. :'(
Thanks everyone!

And Zaole, unfortunately Control Room only ended up being three episodes long. I had a huge story arc spanning at least 12 episodes written, but I just got sick of producing the thing last fall.
