Oh. My. God. I just tried to put { and } in an if() statement.
Then I realised where I was and my brain punched itself a bit.

Wait till you hit another programming language and start putting [] in text. Damn [] haters!
Yeah, sometimes your mind can replace letters and symbols with others without you realizing it. |
Yeah, just now I also used . instead of / for the path of an object.
It took me ages with ActionScript to figure out that you couldn't use [embedded expressions]... I was like, "woah. DM has it made.". Such a goddamn useful feature, far better than "Hello " + name + " , how're you?" |
When I was helping you lastnight, one of the examples I typed boy.proc.think(), but caught myself and fixed it. I think . can be used for something like that, but I haven't look up the proper time or place to use it.

Embedded expressions has to be the most fantabulous feature of the DM language.

I always know I spend too much time away from byond when nitpicking on stupid things that don't matter, is something i'm not used to seeing people do.

I know when I'm spending too much away from BYOND when I actually have a non-internet based life. Kind've like now. =\
