It's just good ol' pen and paper. Practice makes perfect though. You're way better at pixel art than I am tbh.

That's how I feel, give me a pencil & a sheet of paper.. I'll draw yourself! When it comes to Digital Art/Pixel Art, I feel like a 2 year old, because it looks like a bunch of mess.

for me, pixel art is easier than sketching. gonna take 2D Digital Art courses soon

lol :) anyway those are brilliant, I'm awful at drawing on paper I've barely done any drawing on paper and i certainly can't draw that well, So nice work :) | |
I'm better at drawing on paper than pixel art. However, drawing on paper has given me a slight edge on pixel art I guess since I'm familiar with art in some sense. I was also told that pixel art is more like painting, thus the reason you guys might have difficulty sketching if a pixel artist, or vice versa.

This topic should be called "inspired by DBZ"... other than that, lo0oking sweet!. And yeah give me my Hb, B2/4/6 pencils and i'll rock your world. Pizelart is harder... a lot.

I agree with Pandora. Pixel art is a freakin pain because I'm used to using color, yet. From having to select useful colors to creating 2D forms. Ugh. A good representational design never really comes to mind at first.
