So I was working on my game and I decided to change my base and add more states to my new base icon I was making. Took me a long time to make it but I still got it done! :) I think it looks crappy though. o__o Any thoughts guys?

Don't be afraid to light things up with your base. You could also change the proportions so the head is larger.
It's pretty good- for a basic outline.
From this point on you would use various techniques to improve the level of detail.
Also the side walking images are a bit off. The arm is supposed to go backwards as the leg goes forward.
@Dariuc: So I guess I could just copy and paste his torso, switching then with each other?

@Candle_Jack_9000: I did a bit of coloring on the outline. It can be seen in the game but not here. I don't know why. I guess I could add more color to show lighting. But light always hits him from the right side since the left side is darkest.

Then you should pay attention to what happens to your shading when you copy and paste and flip icons.
Agh. Alright. I only have shading for the edges of his head, shoulder blades, abs, chest, and the crease in his foot. I guess I could flip that also probably..
Just the arms need switching really. Or the legs, you can choose, but copy and pasting the full torso wouldn't fix it.

You'd be better off reversing the shading yourself rather than trying to go through the trouble of flipping icons.
Alright.
