Why do Tom still listens to people like.... I don't even... 7 years.
I swear this is my last thread I ever take anyone that's a dweller seriously, on. I'm done rofl. Hilarious.
I'm particularly disappointed we've once again spiraled into yet another finger-pointing pissing match. The question at hand in the opening post was answered, and it seems Tom's reasoning for the removal of blogs was covered as well. It does seem there is a huge disagreement over the removal of blogs though, and I can understand that.
If you have suggestions for features (such as blogs and being able to customize them), please create a new ticket in the Feature Requests tracker (and please, try to remain on topic about the requested feature at hand). For example: Super Saiyan X wrote: I actually had an idea for 'kind of' bringing back blogs - though not in the same way as before. The idea basically was that when you'd make a post, you'd have the option of making it appear on your profile as some sort of header. The blog posts would still function as forum posts, so they can be conformed to BYOND's community standards. It's not a huge change, but yeah... I rather like this suggestion, and I'd love to see it discussed further (perhaps post this in Feature Requests, Super Saiyan X?). It seems like a pretty viable idea. All the while, please be civil in your discussions. These arguments and playing the blame game have become frequent as of late, and always just end up going in circles because both sides refuse to compromise. Being respectful to people doesn't just mean saying that you are more respectful than others and then turning around and being the biggest prat in this thread.
