I was wondering if the official continuation of a game could ever be listed on BYOND? Or, even if the game is a rip, is it possible in any way to get listed?

An official continuation of a game, yes. A game developed from a ripped source, you would have a better chance of seeing it snow in hell.

Rips are pretty much crap. It is poorly programmed and with a such poor skilled programmer, even if I shouldn't talk myself x/, I could spam the server and it would lag CRAZY. If you are planning to make a game, then make YOUR game with YOUR Ideas.

I was kind of hoping LordAndrew would hop in and answer, as it's his area, but I think he's generally been busy.
My hope is we're getting a bit of a re-work in this area, to better take advantage of changes seen in the beta version of the BYOND pager. At present though, it depends essentially on whether or not your game is a fangame. If it is, then I believe we go "Okay, is this game pretty much the same as these others we have?", if so, we reject it. Otherwise, we mark as fangame. |

Can you sticky this somewhere in huge red font on the front page? This is perfect. |
