What are the signs that you have been duked when you pay a pixel artist to make you an icon and they disappear?

firstly said pixel artist should have references from reputable members of BYOND. hiring someone that you know absolutely nothing about is foolish. You're almost certain to get robbed especially with all the kids running rampant on this site.

True but im not sure if i have been duked thats why i asked the BYOND community, You know a guy named SuperTramp? im not saying he duked me but im saying how do yo knwo when someone is duking you?

Hmm The thing is I gave this guy my money I dont wan tto accuse him of anything but I also dont want to wait for somethoing bad to happen.
