it's because left-wingers whine too much. I have a dick for a reason. And I don't want some guy to suck it. And technically America does consist of the two continents North and South America. Of course it will make the gays happy to give them rights, but what about the amount of people, a much greater majority, who are going to get pissed. This isn't like civil rights. This is different. The idea of marriage causing 'chaos across the nation' is ludicrous.
