After about 2-3 seconds upon entering a website, the background/borders turn white. Byond isn't such a good example since its background is gray but I'll use it anyway.

I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with the internet browser so I've tried fixing the contrast but that didn't work. It's really annoying when it happens on other websites. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Is this behaviour that's exclusive to the BYOND website, or do you see it elsewhere as well?
All websites.
What browser to you use?
I'm using Google Chrome. I just now tried Mozilla and it doesn't happen so yeah it's definitely a problem with the browser.

edit- This site says it has nothing to do with the browser in general but that doesn't seem to be correct after comparing it to mozilla. http://en.kioskea.net/faq/ 60-white-background-s-problem-in-web-pages
Well, it's suggesting the issue comes from the browser taking accessability settings from the system in general. I'd check any high contrast settings you have in control panel > accessability, and then also chrome itself.
