Well, I've been working on Soul Searching, a Bleach inspired Roleplay game for a while now. I'm doing well code wise, the bulk of the code done. The only issue I have is a lack of an iconner of any sort. I have nearly no icons at all currently, besides the temporary ones i make so i can test the game features.
If anyone is interested in helping out icon wise, let me know. I will give any significant participators their own in game pet if they wish it(that is, if they even play the game of course.) The pet will be speech activated (So through the "Say" verb) and will have any commands and custom abilities coded for it you want, within reason.
I'm going to post the updates I make to the game here, mostly for archive purposes.

Kidou implamented, each kidou has a proficiency stat which relates to it's possesor. The possessor can inflict more damage, fire said kidou faster, use it more often etc the higher the proficiency.
The more you master a Kidou, the more information it gives you on what the kidou does. This applies with all in game skills, partially to prevent metagameing.
Added more illnesses(Coughing up blood, Stomach Tear, Stomach Bug)
Dying is fully functional now. Dying gives you a chain of fate and turns you into a spirit, stay a spirit too long and you turn into a hollow from chain corrosion, the progress of which is shown by a chain HUD icon, that eats away as your time runs out.
Grab verb fully implamented. You can grab any mob and most objects, if you have enough strength.
Drinkable Rivers added.
Crafting items added.
Carpentry Bench given multiple functions.
Tanning system implamented.
Food-life system fixed. Food now goes off as it should, with a chance of giving you stomach bugs when eaten as it should.

I just started creation of songs for the game. All music will be of my own creation, so excuse it if it sounds amatureish. I have also decided to get the game playable by the end of March. This will be more than achievable if I can succesfully find a regular pixel artist/s.
More recent codeing additions are animal tameing fully implamented. You tame an animal by at first hand feeding it in the hopes it takes a likeing to you. The higher your tamer level the more animal related verbs you obtain, like making them follow you, forceing them to mate, checking their hunger, or even loyalty levels. I have also added Cows, and Lions. Next up I will add deer, and rhinos, all other animals (dogs, cats, maybe some birds, monkeys, tiger, hippo, elephant, foxes) will be added in updates whilst the game is fully hosted up and running. Once the deer and rhino are coded in, I will work on Hollow and Shinigami races, finishing off zanpakutou releases and hollow types and all related phenomena. This post was mainly just to show I am still working on the game, despite lack of information and such. |
