Is it possible to host with Hamachi? And if so how?

From what I understand, Hamachi is meant to emulate a LAN connection. I use it when I play with friends on older PC games. Everyone that wishes to connect to the server has to join the LAN session you host with Hamachi in order to connect with you however.

How would I use it with Dream Dameon though?

Hamachi gives you an IP address. When you invite people to your group, they are given some kind of special connection that effectively bypasses your router and having to port forward. Give them Hamachi's address as a link to your server.
Only people in your Hamachi group can join though. | |

So its only practicality would be for a developer who cannot portforward but wants to do a bit of limited public testing?

Thats exactly how I am right now @Albro xD, I use to be able to portfoward now I cannot sadly :(.
