Without going into too much about what significance this actually has for fear of ruining anything pre-maturely, I bring you a few unedited paragraphs.

Confusion, rage, sadness. All of these only help to describe my state of mind at this point in time. I'm confused, because I'm not entirely sure where I actually am. I'm angry because the last thing I remember is four guys in a van pulling up along-side the sidewalk where I was walking. Sadness because as far as I know, I'm missing out on one incredibly awesome dinner.

I was walking home from work, a healthy 3.2 mile walk as I had previously measured
on my car's odometer. I was observing all of the people leaving the parking lot to the right of me, undoubtedly
driving under the influence after a long night of partying. The bars weren't quite closed yet,
so it struck me as a little bit odd that so many people were leaving at the same time.

I wasn't entirely sure what to make of that
situation and I was pondering it when suddenly, I look back to the street on my left and a van slowly creeps along-side me. Impulsively, I stare at it for a minute, trying to figure out why it's going so slow in a 30 mile per hour zone. Next thing I know, four men in trenchcoats hop out of the back of the van and start walking slowly toward me. It was then that I knew there was to be trouble.
continue please... what a cliffhanger!
And that's when I discovered there was a group of Mind's Eye Theatre LARPers in my town.
