Many of you probably do not know me, as I tend to be pretty quiet on BYOND. However, I do enjoy working with it. If you are unaware, I have made one game, Hyper-Dimensional Tic-Tac-Toe. It is a fairly simplistic casual game. I did enjoy making it though.
But, I have already started on a new project. This one will have quite a bit more depth to it compared to HDTTT. The game is called Arctic Wars, and will be an RTS based in, you guessed it, the Arctic.
It will be a fairly cartoonish game, but I plan to make it at least somewhat decent. However, I am the only developer on it, meaning that I will be doing all artwork, music, and programming. As I do not have a large amount of time on my hands, it will be quite a while before this game is released.
Here are some pictures so far:
I just made some penguin units!
Selecting my units.
Moving my units away from here.
An enemy? Attack!
This game still has a lot of work to do. Personally, I feel that my current sprites need to be lightened up, and the selection ring needs to be shrunk. As I am still early in development, I am willing to take suggestions. If you have any questions, I will answer them them best I can without spoiling too much.

It's good. Nice to meet you.

Nice to meet you as well, Masterdarwin!
As for running on Linux, Dreamseeker does not run on Linux. So, unless you are running an emulator, Arctic Wars will not run on Linux either. |

Nice to meet you as well, Masterdarwin! They are referencing your penguins. Linux uses Tux the penguin as its mascot. Anyway, I can't wait to how the development goes and how the game pans out. |
