Hey all,
I was never really popular on here and I was a member when I was very young. This was my first EVER game engine and I learned ALOT here. I've been away, living my life, learning new things. I'm a amateur hobbyist programmer and game programmer now! I think Byond is what started me on that path, I'm very fond of this website and figured I would come back, maybe make a game or two, maybe make some prototypes or help people with the coding language once I remember it.
Coming back to all this after knowing programming languages, how computers and programs work, etc. It's both humbling and exciting, I've been reading over the documentation offered on the website and I realize how much I didn't know when I was a kid doing this stuff, I was reading over my old forum posts while face palming xD.
I'm mainly coming back here because I'm fond of the engine, community, and I have a new game concept and internet connection. (I could never host servers before.) I look forward to making and hosting something you all might enjoy.
I just wanted to say thank you to everyone, you've made me what I am today.

Nice, you sound pretty competent. Care to share any details about your new game?

It's all still up in the air but at the moment I'm looking to make a game for my family and I to play together. They're very picky about their games, they can't be too complicated, must be able to skip cutscenes, and they don't like to read. So I'll have some on my plate for a bit haha. I plan to make my game so that you should never have to see stat panels or anything, it will have a GUI and you should only need 2 buttons besides maybe the movement keys and a start button. Wish me luck!
