Vindictus anyone?

Anyone out there play this game, never heard anyone around here mention it before.

It's very actionish!

To name a few things:

  • Grab opponents by the neck then > Slam them into a wall, throw them, punch them, crack their backs over your knee.

  • It's combo left, right, dual click, jump, dodge and counter action.

  • Destructible environment, use to your advantage. Traps, bridges, gates, trip wires, swinging logs.

  • Pick up rocks, walls, trees, pots, barrels, box's, opponents weapons, nearly Anything you can find and you can then> Hit opponents with them or throw them.

  • Secondary weapons such as spears and bombs and grappling hooks to chain opponents down etc!.

  • Perform killing moves, and even kick people when they are on the floor or even when they are not on the floor,

  • Go fishing on boats and wait for fish to come by and harpoon them straight out of the water.

  • Loads of other things i can't remember.

I think it's quite a unique game, and has a lot of good features that would be nice in a BYOND game

I used to play it but stopped because it got extremely dull due to the recycled dungeons and such. I very much prefer Nexon's Dragon Nest.

Hmm well, that looks good, but i've just done a quick search and the reason i have not played the recommended game is because> It's not available in the EU for me! well that sucks, video looks pretty good.

This game looks sick! I hope my computer can take all of that awesomeness.

I read about vindictus sounded cool but, I read about how there are some types of tokens or something that just ruined gameplay or something. So I never got around to play.

Yeah i have Dino, It's definitely an Anime i enjoy, though i have actually stopped watching it quite a while ago, and now just read the manga instead.

Btw are you watching the HXH remake?

I'm going to wait a little while so a bunch of the episodes come out. Hopefully it’s as good as the original.

I played it, but I need a slightly better GPU before I can really enjoy it. I don't get an ideal FPS with that game.

Yeah my fps seems to only be 40-ish most of the time ET.


And good idea Dino, it's going well so far and i'm enjoying it, they are going at least 3x as quickly though, with no fillers like the previous version so by episode 3 it's at about episode 10.

The animation is great and voices aren't bad either, The intro and ending song are good too, I'm really looking forward to more, but watching weekly sometimes feels annoying lol.

40-ish? I was barely hitting 20 at some points in the game. If you think 40 is bad you should come try and play it on my piece of crap machine.

Well i don't really think it's that bad, It's just usually i would have higher fps than this, i guess my computers not that bad though.

EDIT:
Using fraps or even the games in built video recorder was terrible, my fps did go bellow 20 then.

I played it. I have no problem with dunegon crawlers but that god damn lag on that game is surreal. I don't know if its my crappy comp or Nexon's fault. I prefer Dragon Nest.

Hmm i see, I have not encountered much lag on it to be honest, I have seen it once, but most of the time i go solo or with friends who live near by, so there's never any lag between us.

Who live near by. Keywords. Vindictus is P2P. So playing with people near by won't give much lag.

you should use a proxy or something with Dragon nest, that shit is beast! Never tried vindicitus, but I have heard a lot of good things about it, it won like best PC Game in 2010 by IGN and a bunch of other rewards by gaming websites, so I might check it out eventually.

Do you have an account on myanimelist.net? That site is beast!

Btw, the new HXH 2011 is so slow paced, it's like a chapter per episode.
