DM is one of the most (If not the most) simple programming language there is to learn. If you learn it before you try C++, Java, or even Python, you'll have an easy time when you most onto them.

While it may be quite simple, other programming languages utilize tutorials that are more "active," so to speak. The tutorial itself is complied into the working environment, allowing frequent tests and visible improvements and examples rather than a mass of text. This appeals to those of us who learn better when something is not going to take us weeks, and it only teaches a fragment of the basics. |
Hmm. Interesting perspecive. I guess I could give DM another shot. But it's just... tedious.

That's with any programming language however. But once you understand how the syntax is set, you can pretty much simply crack open a reference guide and take a peek through, looking at all of the functions. That's how I learned DM so well. I just read through the reference on anything I wasn't sure about, or just wanted to know more of.

Ah, the more likes an object will get, haters come along with it. There is always a Yin to a Yang and a Yang to a Yin. Meaning there is always something Bad to come with Something Good. He's just another noob in the crowd, leave him be. I don't think BYOND would treat somebody so senselessly unless they did something against the Community Guidelines, rules are there to be Followed (And broken). Teehee
