The best way to learn anything, if by trial and error. If you simply begin messing with the layout and looking at the various effects it has on your page. This is the main way I learned about CSS editing on BYOND, as I don't really do much CSS myself, however I understand the basics. I suggest going to W3schools.com and taking a look at their CSS section. This will give you an excellent base to procure the tools necessary in make a professional quality page. The title was done in Photoshop, which required almost no art skill to do, however that's not to say that I'm no artist. At any rate, I'm interested in the games you wish to develop, and am curious about your abilities as a developer. Just throwing that out into the open.
