Count me in as a new fan...

One of my SoCal friends pointed me to a relatively new show on Comedy Central called the "Colbert Report". If you're a fan of biting politial satire, you'll find this to be a consistant source of fun.

But I think what just recently pushed Stephen Colbert into the limelight was a very ballsy performance at the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner. Here are a few clips that I found on it:

The live audience was shocked. Anyway, loved his message and the courage required to go through with such a performance.
Haha, i love him. This video is sweet, and im glad he went threw with it
He isn't bad, but John Stewart's "Daily Show" is much better. I guess I like my political satire a little more upfront.
I like the word of the day better myself. On Colbert report
I like Colbert more than Stewart, personally. He's so serious in his comedy, it makes it 10x funnier.
Colbert is WAY funnier than Stewart, though they both rock.

and The Word is awesome, my fav was when he was talking about Shakespeare and it had "Drive by thumb bitings"

=)
... that Daily Show thing. =/ Meh. I was kinda left a bit cold by that. I prefer the British political satire programs.

(SUPRISE LOL)
Bigg fan....Hes funny as heck
Watch him every day!
Me.
