After you have chosen your survivor and watch the starting sequence unfold, you take control three days later which your survivors have already set up a tent and some supplies.
Before a game starts one or more survivors must be in the tent, survivors cannot leave the tent until the game has offically started.
Once a game has begun, survivors can exit the tent and watchers can spectate using pilot Jones
