Not Feasible

I was thinking that maybe since Byond comes with it's own sprite editor, code editor, map editor, and interface editor, that it should also come with a MIDI Editor. Basically, what I am thinking is that you press File->New and on the drop-down it says "MIDI Project [.DMIDI]" or something like that, then it provides the different midi instruments included in it, with keyboard capabilities and something simple, so that people who even are beginners in MIDI creation or people who never made MIDIs to be able to create sounds for their own game, and then a button that says "Export..." and it can export the file to a MIDI file. The point of having it on it's own format for the project, is so that it can be editable using Dream Maker without having the system play the sound file using winamp or whatever program they have to play MIDI files.

MIDI trackers are difficult to write under the best of circumstances, and it's already been done better by others. MIDI is also an outdated format; BYOND performs much better with module music and produces much better quality output.
