Rhyuke isnt host nor does he control when the server goes up. Its the host job to make sure the server is up and ready. The person who is in charge of the server being up is ramii, both ramii and rhyuke are doing there best to get the server up and make sure it does not lag again.

Would running two servers help with lag at all?

That would be a bad idea because that would mean working on transferring save files between the two servers frequently so people who did not make it before player limit can still play with there character on an open server. Rhyuke has already said "NO" to this idea because it would be to much work for him and the GM team to productively be active on both servers. If you think about it, why would we need to make two servers when you only need one. The lag is being caused by run time error.

Since theres so much problems with shells, instead of looking for further shells, I'll be paying Akuma to host.
