Descriptive Problem Summary:
Everytime I try to join a game, it is shutting off the downloading resources and will not let me into any games.

After I log in, into any account including guest, when I go to play a game, the resource screen shuts off

So are you saying that you can run version 489 (from http://www.byond.com/download/build/489) and that works, but 492 does not?

No, I havent retried it since the problem. It started with the last 2 though.

Right click on BYOND.exe and try "Run as administrator". See if that changes anything.
Also, see if your firewall is blocking or restricting any of the BYOND programs. Usually when people have problems like you are, it is due to a security or firewall issue with the new install (where the old has been accepted). This may clue us in. | |
