I see a million naruto/bleach/pokemon games being developed, but almost no interest in stuff like Gurren Lagann or Cowboy bebop. I should be happy that the stuff I like isn't being turned into some crappy game, but at the same time, why does the good stuff get ignored?

Well i think that its because those are like less known animes. Bleach,Naruto,Dragonball,One Piece,Pokemon are very known lol

There aren't sources readily available to rip for a Gurren Lagann or Cowboy Bebop game, therefore no one wants to "make" one.

In all honesty; Cowboy Bebop is one of my least favorite animes, but that's just me.
Regardless; Most animes wouldn't translate over well to a game. Both of which you named are examples. Only come animes would translate well. Unfortunately the ones that could be, already are and provides for an easy cache of resources(graphics, sound, concepts, etc.) | |
