It would be a pretty neat and useful feature if we could select an area of an icon then when lowering the alpha value, the whole selected areas alpha value goes down.

This would be really useful for icons that use many colors because of the fact that initially we have to change the alphas of each color one by one. With this, it allows for a much simpler approach of changing an icons alpha mask.
