During the last week or so Ive been mainly working on environmental sprites for spirit age, which was pretty fun! Ive now reached the point where the majority of designing the world is complete. With the exception of a few minor visual aspects that I've neglected to fix (IE: adding corner edges to both grass tiles) which will inevitably happen during the polishing phase.
Last night or this morning rather, Ive completed the last major form of transportation that will be available in game. These being by Rails or traveling by Sea.
Simply put, traveling by sea is the only way a player can leave the main continent to get to smaller neighboring countries.
Traveling by train only allows the player travel to hubs(smaller towns) within their respective country.
Each operates on a timed schedule. The time it takes to travel between destinations would be determined by their distance.
As of now Im still polishing the Map, so you probably wont be hearing anything significant relating to the art aspect of the game from me in awhile.

Zane this looks pretty amazing, and the age this is set in really brings it to life, i love all this world exploring adventure and travelling.

Thanks Teka! at the pace chris and I are moving we should have a playable version in no time.
@enzuigiri nothing has changed about blog key in 4 years other than the CSS.it was made in my adolescence :p ill probably get around to changing it someday but i havnt done it in so long ive actually forgotten how to go about it. |
Some perspective issues, and some of the colors are very plastic-like to me.
But it definitely is very good. I need to start pixeling again, WHERE ARE MY DRUGS? |
In your back-pocket, silly. It's right there, next to your bag of -*censored*-

At first I was really down to hear BR stopped and wasn't too fond of the new original game idea, but from what I've seen and read so far, I'm pretty excited. Sounds like it's going to be fun. Can't wait to learn/see more. :]

The art looks beautiful! A++
I like the green paintbrush on the CSS. (If you change the CSS around, keep the brush xD) |
