It also said I've run out of "space" or something. So I have my ext. harddrive connected.

Gonna probably backup (somehow) and reinstall.

Screw off that Ribbon UI and return the Start Menu to what it was previously and I'll be contented. Screw that touch-screen shit off. =/

Yeah, I do hate the Ribbon UI as well as the Start Menu. I'm sure that'll be fixed in upcoming releases.

The start menu is their pride and joy. MS can't keep a straight face when they talk about it, it's clearly Windows Head's favourite new addition. Not to mention it's Window's gateway to the App market (oh good, more apps, just what we need), so to remove it would mean they'd have to completely redesign their handling of apps.

And the Ribbon UI is probably set in stone as well. However, we might be lucky enough to get a toggle back to old behaviour (it's not like they can't support it!).

Well, a lot of Windows users are complaining about it. "Desktop" should be just that, the Windows 8 original desktop for old Windows users. If it doesn't change, whatever, I'll just go back to Windows 7. For now I'm gonna be cautiously hopeful, but I do like everything so far, minus what I said I disliked.

To remove the Ribbon UI, Metro UI, etc. Reverts basically back to the Windows 7 layout.

That's a fantastic find! If Metro can be toggled, there's a good chance somewhere in there is a toggle for the Ribbon UI. Brilliant!

I managed to revert the layout back to the one of Windows 7 as you can see here.

Yeah, only thing that annoys me is that the "Watermark" registry fixes don't work.
