its easy Monarchy...
1st in the screen that theres a kakashi click once then 3 choices will appear (Hero,Villain and akatsuki) click the 1st letter of the name of the team you wanna play it will open the characters for this team you cant pick a character of a team that is outnumbering the others(it doesnt apply if u wanna pick a a hero or a villain when facing a outnumbered akatsuki)
and to come back to the screen of side chossing press the arrow at the back word

I like this game, definately the best Naruto sidescroller yet. Only small things I would currently like to see is mirrored attack for Danzo using Ibuse from under the ground and for Animal Paths Crab summon. So you can use it to attack someone to your left. Currently you can only use it to your right. While I believe Orochimaru great snake summon can be used both ways.

^ The range on animals Crab summon is enough to hit both right and left of where hes standing.
