Fug, you need to dig out those old drawings and post them.
I could try drawing it in mspaint. lol
It's easier to use imgur. =P

FUGSNAAAAARRRFFF!!!!

Aww, you fixed the link.
tsfreaks stands for TripSwitchinFreaks but back in the day, long user names weren't allowed so I shortened it up.

I created it by thinking of a bunch of buzz words and then mixed and matched them until I came across one that flowed really well and sounded kinda neat.

Funny enough, I was trying to come up with a "band" name at the time and years after creating it, I finally got inspired to throw some tracks together which I published on myspace. If your interested, you can check em out out here: http://www.myspace.com/203292519

One of the funny things about this alias is that people are always trying to guess what the "ts" stands for. In many cases, people think it stands for some sexual reference like Transsexual so I'm
always fending off those sorts.

I think I've been using tsfreaks for around 17 years or so.

Favorite color is a 3-way tie between black, white, and what I call sky blue. I get to cheat a little because I love the color of the sky from dawn to dusk and every small transition in-between. If I had to pick one, it's 6699CC and only because I can remember it. :)

Oasis, you don't know where you got "+42 exp from?!?"

"Topic Suggestion 4: Byondcaster's future goals. (Added Pbags +42 exp?)"
You forgot me and left no creds. T.T

Perhaps I influenced you subliminally by you trolling my comment with your boat?

Suggestion: Add a sound effect of some sort when showing video clips, I noticed the Narto VS clip after watching/listen to BYONDcast 15 times with the 15th time NOT having the window minimized.
Higoten is a username I created when I was about eight years old.

The first site I used Higoten on was Neopets.com, and I had been having problems with remembering what my usernames were in the past. So I decided to smash together two words that I could easily remember. They happened to be hi and go.

Unfortunately, a four letter username didn't satisfy the six letter requirement, so Neopets.com offered me a compliant suggestion, Higo10.

Having a slight dislike for numbers in names, I quickly changed it to Higoten, and I was on my way to explore Neotopia.

Ten years later, its just about the only username I use.

Yes, it wasn't suppose to be DBZ related, despite the clear cut relation.

My favorite color is a dark orange. No good reason why.

That was the plan for Pascal's Challenge. If anyone wants to throw money at me to pay for all the pixel art I'd be more than happy to move forward with it.

I'm guessing that quote is from the audio, I haven't had time to listen to it yet. Tiny Heroes, the project I pretend to devote time to, will probably fall into the Metroidvania category. It'll probably be more abilities that unlock things than items, but close enough.

I hope it turns out well. My only gripe with your sidescrollers is they seem so hard and rigid. You should definitely play around with the gravity, momentum, and friction; make it a little less sim-like.

Thanks! Gravity is one of the things I've been tinkering with. Using the default gravity you fall too fast to be able to make many jumps (you can clear a 3-tile gap, but probably not 4). For the sake of making some interesting platforming challenges I needed to lower gravity a bit. It also makes it look nicer considering the characters are so small.

What's wrong with the momentum? Is there too much? I tend to be sensitive to that too (Cave Story really bothered me about that) but maybe I'm just too used to the movement in the sidescroller library that I don't notice it.
It would be a good exercise to load up Super Mario World for the SNES and just play it for a few hours. They really nailed it in that game, it's floaty enough for casual play while having a high level of precision for some serious platforming.

Compare the movement in SMW to the movement in your pixel lib and my criticisms should be a bit more clear. Basically, make it more like Mario.
Kaiochao's been my username since I was 10 or younger. At the time, my friends and I liked DBZ and Sonic the Hedgehog.

Kaio(DBZ) + chao(Sonic Adventure 2 Battle's Chao World)

I didn't join BYOND for DBZ, don't worry. First game I played was actually Raegon, then Builders Fantasy.
Oh my goodness, Raegon was awesome.

Ok, I'll take a look. No matter what the default behavior won't be sufficient for every game, but I'd like it to be as middle of the road as possible.

Why, that's not illegal at all!!
My favourite colour has always been Gold, because it's freakin' gold yo.

The name El Wookie has a very long detailed story behind it, one which I think many can relate to. It's a tale of loss, but overall moral value as the protagonist takes something away from the entire encounter:

Kai once said to me El Wookie would be a great name so I made a key called El Wookie.

My old account, Rushnut, does actually have a little bit of a story to it though:

When I was like 10 or something, I played Runescape, because when I was 10 Runescape was the freakin' shit. However I had to come up with a name. Being a creative asshole, I came up with 'RussianDowns', symbolizing how, when I was 10, I hated Russian people (I still to this day have no idea why I used to hate Russian people.)
That account was promptly banned, so I had to make a new one, in order to keep it similar, I chose Rushing Down. A few years later I found BYOND, and I dropped the 'Down' part, becoming just Rushing. After a few months of playing LOL DBZ ECKS DEE, I came across Castle. Castle is a game in which you can have a maximum of four players, and if you want to, you can be all four. Originally I started with 'Rushing' 'Rushin' 'Rushter' and of course, 'Rushnut'. Due to randomness, Rushnut was always the account which I used first, making him the blue character, and the character everyone associated with the entire team. Over time, I ended up using Rushnut more than all the other accounts. And that was that.

=P
"I've failed you, BYONDlings." No. We've failed you... You're awesome. We are the students, you are the master.
@Zetaiva: Thanks for your kind words. There won't be white noise in the next one. I promise. (:
Unfortunately, I wasn't crazy about this episode, but hey, when your knocked off your boat by a giant troll, you get back up and keep on trolling.

Oh yeah, poor Fug and Oasis, Bravo grilled their childhood names. T.T

Either way, keep going!
