We spoke to a developer who wished not to be named to have a small Q&A session on his upcoming game -

1. What type of game is this and the name?
It's a top down shooter and I can't tell you that.

2. How many people are working on this?
As of now, 2 officially!

3. Since you know how great DMBlog is, and you decided to take time and do this short Q&A, why are you so secretive about your work?
I want the game to have a grand entrance and have people go like "Wow where did this come from?" or in BYOND terms, "OMGWTFBBQ EPICNESS." Also, if I show anything major as of now, I don't want to risk having my content copied and we know how possible it is with BYOND.

4. What inspired you to make this top down shooter?
Well originally, I wanted to create a zombie game similar to Left 4 Dead, but due to resources being unavailable, I couldn't. So I just decided to make a shooter which would be easier to handle.

5. Does the game have a profit motive?
There is no profit motive regarding this game. Rather because the original "Group/Team" had died off some time ago and we were making anime games (which were good.) I wanted to revive that "Group" by making an original game and hopefully this game can give the new found "Group," its spark. I may or may not add a subscription system by the way.

6. Is the game being done differently as compared to other BYOND games?
This game will be using some Javascript made material even though there have been reports of Javascript not working properly. If this really is the case for certain computers, I'll be making it so that players will have the ability to choose alternate methods of running the game.

Thanks for being with us!
Cool, see you guys later!

Since the developer, as mentioned, doesn't want to show most of his content, we were able to get just a small, maybe pointless screenshot of his game:

I know who it is.
This person was inspired by Left 4 Dead...really? Any zombie game is better then that one.
"cough"heyya46"cough"
Really? A statpanel? >.>
So anonymous.
EDIT: I'm one of the few who have testing privileges to the game, this isn't Syndicate for all those asking.
Lol I didn't even notice the statpanel at first. I was just looking at the little black box at the bottom.

It does look kinda weird but the game is under construction so I'm going to assume that's temporary.

I made a zombie game once...
Trust me, it's possible.

"This person was inspired by Diablo...really? Any rpg game is better then that one."

"This person was inspired by Star Trek...really? Any sci-fi is better then that one."

"This person was inspired by Bleach...really? Any anime is better then that one."

"This person was inspired by House...really? Any medical drama is better then that one."

Nope, it still sounds uninformed in any context.

@Gigimoi

Lol, I guess it's possible.

@Bravo1

Rawr! That is all ;).
The last interview was at least okay and had plenty of content. I did not like this one very much. The person being interviewed was the main problem, I think, as he/she didn't give any information. I think it was a poor choice for an interview. It's weird enough if the person is random and nobody knows him. It's even weirder and less interesting if we don't even get to find out who the person actually is and what the project is about besides a few vague statements.
"There might be a cool game coming out sometime... maybe"

Print it!

Not knocking you guys personally, but Fugsnarf has a point, there could've bee more information given, even if it was just ideas about where the game would go.
I agree with Fugsnarf and Bravo. It was a bit vague. I think the anonymous person is kind of cool, but I feel it could have been used better because there was already practically no info about the game except that it's a top down shooter that's using some JS and it's possibly a zombie game. Overall, it was interesting that it was secretive, but perhaps a little To secretive.

I don't blame DM Blog, "Since the developer, as mentioned, doesn't want to show most of his content, we were able to get just a small, maybe pointless screenshot of his game"
Does this person not share their name because of shame?

is it laserdog?

Given the quality of just that generic UI... you felt like that was a possibility huh?
yes
No no, it's to readable to be laserdog's. (To many caps, laserdog is a capless guy.)
