Tha Carter IV is waynes best album to date, in my opinion.
Good. It is.
The only thing good about Carter IV is the fact that Tech N9ne is on an Interlude. Thats about all. The rest is the same old garbage "music". He needs to quit already.

Glad I didn't have to say it myself. Tech N9ne snapped, my first time hearing him too.
I pirated it about a week ago and I'm already tired of it.

It's garbage imo, Watch The Throne is and always will be better.
I haven't heard it, but every single person I know has commented on how this album will be Weezy's downfall.

Wayne stated he was planning on retiring at 30 anyway and wants Drake and Nicki Minaj to get all the attention and success now so he can do more with his kids.

Calling it a "downfall" is pretty dumb. When you have as much money as this guy does, another successful album is just pocket change. He's set for life with or without it. It's not like Young Money will collapse now that a couple people are saying it sucks.
Whether or not it's his downfall, I disagree with releasing a crappy album as your final(?) album. It's sloppy, lazy, and especially because he has a lot of money, it's unjustifiable to make bad music.

Slick Rick is regarded as the best storyteller of all time and at least in the top 50 greatest MCs of all time, but he should have quit prior to his last CD.

It's a common notion that the greats know when to quit - and this is just a bit disappointing that Wayne didn't.

Now of course, I'm assuming the CD is garbage based on reviews. I haven't listened to it so I'm just going off of that.
I was just giving you more of a Wayne's point of view. I know if I was in his shoes, I wouldn't care if people marveled over my last album or not. I made millions upon millions, and I'm ready to retire. I'm not going to lose a moment of sleep over an album that could succeed or flop and not make a blind bit of difference either way. If it works, hey, another couple million to go spend on a new jet. If not, oh well, I'll just keep flying in the jets I already got. =/
Kendrick Lamar.
