Also, the reason I haven't been active with the hosting action is cause my computer broke down awhile back and just bought a new one, so I am restarting this =) anyone that still wants a server, please give me a page and/or leave a comment!

You are charging $8 a month for one "port" that's pretty expensive you are also hosting on your PC at home?

No, they get their own accounts from the VPS, not my pc.

I see more people are starting up their own hosting service. That's good. I remembered back in the days there was only 3 main providers and slowly they all died out. Lucky Zen Hosting to this day still remains.
I am glad to see more options are available. Competition is always good. I wanted to to comment on your claim about offering the specs that you say you are. "Server Specs; Quad Core 4GHZ Processor 8 gigs of Ram 100mbps Uplink" Something like that would cost no less than $100+ a month. There is no way you have that actual specs unless your in a huge loss. Most providers will have a VPS running on Quad Core server, but you are not getting those actual speeds. You are limited to the CPU speed and memory and other factors. In most cases you are on a shared server where there you only get what is available hoping someone on your node isn't hogging up the memory. If anyone is interested in trying or using Zen Hosting (Est 2008, Only original BYOND Hosting Service) left, feel free to check out the website @ http://dbzenhosting.com In simple terms, what I am saying is your not getting those specs, actually if lucky getting 1/5 of those specs. Don't be fooled by Quad Core and 8GB RAM. :) My servers are running a Dedicated Server, and you are getting 2.0GHZ+ CPU on most of the plans. Doesn't zen resell Virprus or whatever VPS's you know the unreliable vps service?
Or was that another host? Not putting your service down I like the competition and the fact you have been around for a while now. BYONDPanel has only been around for nearly 3 years but we have grown very large and continue to grow and help the community somewhat I have plans :) for some contests also. | |

That is probably someone else your thinking of. It seems most people on BYOND use Virpus. From what I have heard its not the best for reliability as you stated earlier.
