I felt like working on some sort of rpg again, but I couldn't get to the graphics from my old one. They are buried on one of my many dead computers. What to do, but make them over again. :P

Not a whole lot to do yet, and I still don't quite like the water graphic. There is a darker spot that seems to bring out the tileness of it. Overall though, I think I like these even better than the old ones. Lots more to make, but it's a start.
Omg, your spriting makes me wet and tender all over. I mean, nice spriting there, Flick
Great job :) I think the grass should be darker, though.
Yeah, the grass is a bit too light green.
You rock.
Awesome :]

Water looks fine, by the way.
This is coming from a guy who has a mushroom ring with a disco floor showing on his main page, but are you comparing apples and oranges? While darker land and/or water might appeal to me, it looks like these pictures try to compare the added dirt and tree types of the original with the nifty blending patches of the new version. =)

...These are just shiny objects to distract us from the thought that you might not get your game code back, aren't they? =(
My only problem is that someonething about the water bothers me...maybe it's just the shade of blue or something...or that dark spot...Otherwise it looks pretty damn good. I wish I could do crap like that...
I am jealous.
That's pretty.

Well, to be honest, there wasn't a heck of a lot of actual 'code' involved anyway. :P I do have a bunch of hand-written notes though, and those have survived just fine.
You had games though. Can you get things like Flindal Boardgame and Flindal Kingdoms back or were you planning on rewriting them anyway?
Well, Kingdoms I can definitely get. I'm not so sure about the old boardgame. I'm not even sure which one that is on anymore :P I got one new computer recently, and I'm about to buy a laptop and get some parts for my most recently dead one. I should be able to salvage everything then.
Wow, those look really nice!
Nice! Though I don't know much about your game yet, it's obvious that you're putting a lot of work into it -- I'm looking forward to it. =)
