Been Busy Doing Secret Things

Okay, I have a dark past.
Secretly, I used to make fan games. (Shocking, I know!)

I actually have somewhat of an attachment to my best project, so I had to tend to that for a couple of days. (Back to real action, now!)

Anyways, I just now came up with the board game concept I'm going to use for the Simple Developments Guild contest!

It's a simple turn-based board game concept. Currently, I don't know at all how much strategy is involved. This'll be fun to make.
I can't wait to make it and submit it!
I've never entered into a contest before!

Good luck. I finished mine already, and am doing small updates on it as issues arise. This is my first contest I've entered that I completed. :) I inadvertently added a sense of strategy to mine, but seeing as you are a competitor, I'm not going to reveal all of my secrets to you. ;)

Mine doesn't require much concept. It really does fit the Guild's description: Simple. Hahah.

They are two different things. One of them uses borrowed ideas, and has an existing fan base and thus is easier to make.
The other you can legally make money off of.

They are made either by people who like to emulate things they enjoy in a virtual environment, or people who enjoy certain themes and would like to emulate them along with game-play.. in a virtual environment. Okay now that's bull shit. I can make a game in a day about stacking blocks, but since they are called NARUTO BLOCKS the game is therefore easier to develop!

In the real world, yes, but on a tiny website like this, good luck making over 10$ unless your game is freaking fantastic. Not every single non-profit developer is interested in profits, in fact very few.

My game is 'freaking fantastic.' I've made probably somewhere over $100. Though, I was strictly non-profit and only used the money to pay for the server hosting it. Found out that was illegal. T.T Stopped doing that.

The concept of simplicity doesn't refer to the game, but how the game is created ;)

If you're getting angry about something online then you need to take a step back and calm down. It's just the internet. Causing a flame war about it won't solve anything and will just upset more people. Do you really want to be "that guy"?
