Hey. This is my first post on the forum, but I've been lurking around it and the website for a small while now.

I've also been trying my hand at making a game of my own. I've even bookmarked the DM Guide, DM Reference and 'BYOND Resource Repository' thread over on the Developer Help page, I've been studying them for a while. But admittedly they can get a little bit hard to understand sometimes (at least for me).

I think what would really do me a world of good is another intelligent human being to bounce questions off of and help to clarify to me what code does what and all that jazz.

If anyone would like to help me, well, I don't really have anything to offer you beyond my gratitude. But I might as well put out feelers, I'm 90% certain there's nothing wrong with asking.
@Tarnius

Welcome! (I don't think I can welcome you because I'm new too but oh well ;))

I would be glad to help you out whenever you need but I think the best thing to do is use the Developer Help Forums. That way you can get help from as many people as possible, which is always better than just one person.
welcome
Welcome to the community! (:
What Nailez suggested is true, however I'll gladly help you out if you ever want some more 1 on 1 help with programming. You could just page me or add me on skype; [email protected].
Thanks to all, glad to be here!

I'll defiantly ask a few questions on the Developer Help page, but I wasn't entirely sure whether I should have posted there for this request. From what I could make out it seems to be about asking for help with problematic code, and I suppose I'm more looking for a tutor. I suppose they're not so different really. Ah well!

Also, thank you very much Kumorii! I'll most certainly be taking you up on that offer! I'll try not to bother you too much though!
I sent a friend over Skype to you Kumorii, but I'll need to go to bed within the next hour or so. S'late for me over here. Look forwards to talking with ya.
I haven't gotten your invite yet. Try my Skype name(I guess Microsoft hasn't finished the support for Microsoft accounts): matt.kumorii
