Yeah, they are goggles and a scarf.
I noticed there are a lot of characters like that. Lock from Lock's Quest, Jak from Jak and Daxter, etc. (And now the one you mentioned.) Also, he's holding a wrench, which was random, but it seems Lock also holds a wrench. Any similarities were unintentional. I just wanted him to look cool. [EDIT] Also, in my second iteration of the character, I added a red utility belt. | |

Hm, the mascot looks interesting. If those are glasses and a scarf, then he kind of reminds me a bit of Solar Boy Django.
