I've been jumping from server to server for the last few weeks, broadcasting and recording the roleplay that I have been having.
By far the BEST roleplay experience I have had has been the Apollo Station 17 server! If you're into just killing people for silly reasons or for being that full on combat person, this server offers quite a bit of diversity.
From nuke disarming rounds to just plain extended, to cultists, I have not ran into any rounds that have displeased me to the point that I just got up and quit. You can do quite a lot so long as you are within the realm of your character.
Head positions are white listed as are the other races. This has to be done to prevent Joe Noob from being an absolute idiot or sentencing the entire crew to die for their own amusement. Races are played very well by people who have read and applied for the position, and they have add a lot more depth to the environment.
If you are looking for servers with quick rounds, this definately is not the server for you. (nuke disk rounds being the exception) Rounds have lasted up to 4 hours, but as short as 1 hour at time. The admins cause some pretty hilarious antics by making players seem insane, but I've yet to run into any issues that I was unable to roleplay through or laugh my ass off watching unfold!
I do recommend that if you join and find yourself unable to last the entire round, that you find a bed, or a spot in the dorms and sleep, having a bunch of "SSD" braindead people sleeping in the halls is just unsightly. If you happen upon a poor fellow like this, let the medical staff know and transport them to a bed if they are in good condition. If not, leave them after letting medical know and press on!

To be honest, I've never seen you once on Alium and we keep notes on all the players who do good or bad, so you can't really see a server is the best one if you purposely avoid servers.
Plus, rather biased review as all servers are best in their own way. Can't claim one server is better then the other, hence, it's not the best. And for Laser, real mature, that when someone states another place for people, you instantly go to insults, which is rather hypocrite as you usually tell people to be mature, or once helping other servers. You then just go down low since someone has a different opinion then yourself, why not follow your own advise? | |

I do have one negative comment about the server which has actually driven me to avoid playing on it.
One of the admins (i will not name names on this forum) Jobbanned me for his own unwritten rule. For this reason alone i will NOT return to Apollo Station 17 and I will not give any further comments. Back to Hypatia station for me, it just surpassed AS17 as best in roleplay <3 | |

I seem like a completely unreasonable guy after waiting on the whitelist for 2 weeks. should have added to my earlier post... "does not take criticism well." "Mister" Laser50, deal with the fact that you're not important to the continued presence of mankind on the planet earth. You run your server like it's your playground. And while I admit that you are the host,and that it's your prerogative to run the server any way you damn well choose, you are also responsible for your 'crew'. I don't know how you behave in your real life. But, on Apollo station... you are negligent, spiteful, rude, demanding, and generally loud-mouthed. Anyone who plays on Apollo 17 does so for the everyday crewmen, and (honestly) Laser50's modifications are usually pretty solid. To me, it's not worth the drive though. The crew of Apollo 17, however, are top-notch. Honest props to them. | |
