Pocket Monsters sucks in my opinion. The anime, manga, games, etc. all suck. But this... is beautiful...

I agree Bravo. After working on this and seeing what this world could look like in 3D, I've just been longing to complete it and I hope that someone can make a Digimon world styled battle system to support this. Because then it could be taken to an entirely new level of awesome. It also makes me wonder why GameFreak hasn't yet done this. Pokemon has great potential for an actual MMO.

It sure does. I see the Pokemon games here, and the only thing they lack is content and proper animations/battlescreens. Everything else works perfectly, for most of them anyways.

It's not so much deep as it is one of the greatest games ever. It's success is more recognizable than Mario, Sonic, Megaman, you name it.
Between the anime, games, manga, and movies, it's a cultural phenomena that will stick with everyone. The only people who don't get Pokemon are those who were born too late to experience the first games as a child, OR those who have lost touch with their inner child. | |
