BYOND anime

Still alive, somewhat dead, or dying? Since funimation came into the picture. The publicity that BYOND anime once had isn't there anymore. You have to pretty much click a keyword at the homepage and come across a game that's associated with the guild. (At least I think that funimation has something to do with it) Then again guilds like BYOND action and BYOND RPG aren't as active anymore as well.

So what's happening now? Are these guilds just forgotten or does no one have the time to dedicate to them anymore?

I think the guilds fell out of use more because BYOND doesn't need them anymore. With the new setup, there really isn't a whole lot of reason for players to spend time there, and because BYOND doesn't advertise them anymore, there is no new traffic going to any of the guilds. This leads the people who once ran them to move on to other things.

On a CSS related note, the text color and the background color are the same in your comment box. Could just be me, but it's kind of annoying.

Yeah sorry about that, its getting repaired until. Anyway, I agree with your statement. I too, think that because of the lack of advertising the people who once ran them aren't much interested in them now.

Games are listed by tags now so the guilds are pretty much inactive. I've been posting around on BYOND Anime lately and there are still a few people who lurk there as well.
