To be honest, Each one of them are "big" in their own category. But that's just my opinion.

I voted for Teka. Anyone that ever reads blogs or anything knows what that man does for BYOND. Also, he works his hump off to ensure the listings are pure and rip-free.

In addition to that, he also uses alot of his time donating CSSes to people and spending alot of his hard-earned money donating to BYOND and its developers as well as purchasing several memberships.

@Tekas - The nicest by a magnitude.

@Stephon - Realest programmer on byond. No one sees the game like he does.

@Garthor - Slap in the face to him. Hes been putting in work everyday since day 1.

@Silkwizard - Good developer. If your not a certain age, he's a dick.

@Tom/LJR - I've watched the site grow for 10 years. Big changes. But I still feel like they aint going hard enough. 10 years should be enough time to atleast recruit a real staff(4+) and have some real heavy progression.

It's a problem with money. Tom simply can't afford to hire a large team of developers to work on BYOND. They're doing what they can, and doing a good job.

There's a ton of people here like Stephen001, EmpirezTeam and a few others that would gladly do it for free just to see the community they love so much develop even faster.

I hate to say it, but for some reason, I believe BYOND brings in a few more bucks to Tom then he likes to say. I'd say just by what Teka himself has spent here this year could pay two people to help develop BYOND a little further. I think it's more of a selfish act than a monetary one.

I have many more reasons why I do not like Silk (none of them include Silk getting butthurt and banning me from his blog for commenting on a flaw in NEStalgia because I don't hold stupid grudges)

I've heard but man, every hardcore programmer should be a millionaire. I mean Mark made Facebook in a week. (Tom/LJR are older more experienced then Mark was). Why cant people do what he did in 1 week in at least 10 years. There's too many loop holes in the internet. Think of something! If you cant, take suggestions! Take risks!

Agreed, however people are human, as you see below no matter there age jealousy/hate etc.. is still shown through what they do. Most of the volunteers are childish, and Tom/LMJ being the leaders of this community are doing nothing but updating the engine, it would be nice to have a real pro make something 'worth' playing in the DM language that's 'original'.

@Yusuke: From what I've heard, Teka has spent around $6,000 altogether over a course of a few years. Taking into account that apparently Tom and Lummox have no other jobs (from what I've heard, at least) that's not a lot to live off of. As a matter of fact, I believe that puts them well below the poverty line.

And whose fault is that? How hard is it to at least flip some friggen burgers instead of relying on some memberships from a gaming site to pay the bills? If this is true, then perhaps they are 30 year olds living at home with their moms?
