Depends on the game to me..

It doesn't matter. While some people may prefer real-time over turn-based and vice versa, there is no "best" battle system. If the system is created well, and the gameplay is entertaining, then you'll have a good game.

A turn-based version of Warcraft would be just as fun as the real-time original. You'd lose all the hardcore real-time fans, but gain all the turn-based ones or people who don't really care either way ( like me ). I prefer real-time but would still play a good round of Ultimatum any day.

Depends. If I ain't multi-tasking, then real-time is nice.


But for games like LRS or NEStalgia, Turn-based is prefered.
