And that means time to redecorate in honor of the home team. This Saturday, Tom and I will join a couple of other friends to attend the Los Angeles Clippers' first playoff game in 9 years. It's been a long wait, but worth it.
This first round matchup pits the mighty Clippers against the Denver Nuggets in a best-of-7 series. The Clippers own the regular season series, 3-1. This includes January's back to back blowout wins in Denver and L.A., and an astounding 22-point comeback victory two weeks ago. Sadly, I attended the one and only Clipper loss, a road game in Denver last November.
They say that the regular season doesn't matter once the postseason starts. This is the big stage, which separates the men from the boys. I say, "Bring 'em on!"

Best of luck Mike. I'm a Florida Gator fan, so I had a pretty good March/early April, but the Orlando Magic couldn't quite get it done at the end to sneak into the playoffs. I'd like to see the Clippers do well, and hey, they've already done better than Larry Brown did this year.

I would like to see the Lakers win because Kobe has worked hard to get to the play offs. He deserves to win. But the team I mainly want to win is the Chicago Bulls.

Even though play offs are over. Phoenix should have taken it. Celtics might do alot better next year now that they have Ray Allen. But Delonte West was a great factor and if he stayed he would become a all star.
