Bleach Sword

Hey guys, my friend requested I draw him a sword, so I offered to create it in pixel art instead. Well, after some time of playing around and having fun with this, I've gotten it to a level that I like. I notice a few things I'd like to perhaps improve, but overall I really love how this looks.

I was inspired heavily by Ginjo's sword.

The way the center of the sword is shaded looks like its sunken in.Its should be darker on one side and you can always use a lighter color on the center where it bends or whatever to show its at its peek in width....

Unfortunately for the handle I was limited by the canvas size, I know what you mean.
The jagged edges, yeah, thats one of the things I wanted to revise =)

The shading on the blade bothered me too.. I started getting lazy towards the end, and I had stuff distracting me. I might go back and fix that eventually!
