After a couple week of balencing and developing gameplay, Jeet Kune Do has been down so that new characters and a help system could be added. Thanks to the help of various players and members of the community, that help system is now opporational, and we have a new playable character named James. Thank you to all the players who (unknowingly) helped me test the game, and to these persons in particular:
- Uub : For making James, and for being a fan of the game.
- Flick : For writing up a mini library for use with the help system.
- Hiead and Papoose : For working out some bugs in the help system.
- Lummox JR : For answering my many questions.
- Williferd : For making a character... who's complexity has confounded my ability to add him. I'm working on it ;)
A downloadable beta release will soon be available, all I'm waiting on now is a round of testing for the help system. (And unlike that '2hours' fiasco, this one will actually get uploaded).
Look for Jeet Kune Do to be hosted tonight around 5pm (eastern), and throughout the weekend.
I'm still looking for user submitted characters, and am willing to work with players to complete the sprite sheet. A lot of people have shown me partial characters and character concepts, and I'm excited about seeing players get a chance to play with them. I know there's more half finished characters out there, so get them finished and you could make it into 1.0!
