For the last few weeks I've been hosting just fine on my tower, which ran XP Service Pack 2; today I upgraded to Service Pack 3 so that I can play Warframe, and for some reason I'm now completely unable to host - I keep getting the "port cannot be reached by players" message on Daemon.
No, I don't have a firewall running (and have made byond an exception to AVG's checking so that there's absolutely no issues there); yes, I have my ports forwarded and everything correct in that regard - the only new thing about my setup is that I'm now running SP3.

Some extra information: I've run some checks with other games that use the same connection model and they've worked fine (and I can connect to other byond servers just fine) so the problem is solely limited to hosting byond servers.

Any ideas? I haven't had much luck trawling the forum for anyone with a similar issue.
Have you tried to see if http://www.canyouseeme.org/ can see your open port?
Insatlling a new service pack might automatically turn the firewall back on I know you mentioned that you don't have one but it may be worth wild doing a sanity check.

It can't, although it *should*, since I've double-checked that the port is forwarded and my IP address et al have been properly set up.

I did that before I asked and have since double-checked; it's still off.
