I haven't really used this.
Well. Actually, that isn't very accurate, so I'll reiterate that:
I haven't used this AT ALL.
But hopefully that'll change for now, since I have at least some free time to peruse the web once more.
My last activity on BYOND was relevant to Cowed, that one game by Android Data before he bailed (again, hurr hurr) It was a pretty good game, and there were some decent people in the community, but as per my expectations, it would only get as good as it's management, which, with Data at the helm, was not very good at all.
Alas, that boat sunk and then I removed myself from BYOND because honestly, I didn't want to stick around for the other games if Cowed was the best it had to offer.
Anyway. Things. Things to talk about.
Uhhh. I was on the bus home today, and there were these kids that got on before me. They couldn't have been older than 14, but they were fully dressed in the usual wannabe gangsta shite that's flogged to our degraded degenerate youth culture and felt it suitable to play Eminem songs through their cell phone speakers whilst complaining about the shitty quality (I don't know what they were really expecting, they're playing it through cell phone speakers)
This was all quite an amusing tirade before their scumbag steve routine caused me to put in my own headphones and sink into the seat, forgetting they ever existed.
That's pretty much the highlight of my day.
Oh, and apparently the second coming of Christ is happening this Saturday. WON'T THAT BE FUN?

Cowed was DEFINITELY not the best game BYOND had to offer then, or now. Where'd you get that idea?

I can't even argue with that. I should've been more clear in that aspect, but Cowed was essentially the only game I played, and I didn't really get into anything else on BYOND.
Once Cowed died, you could say my activity within BYOND went with it. So, it wasn't so much that Cowed was the best game, but the only game I played at the time that I considered "good" (Which wasn't difficult to achieve, considering I didn't play any other games on BYOND either.) | |
