While entertainment has definitely become a mainstream use of the internet, I still believe that the internet is mostly used for communication. The majority of people today still have lives.

The Internet is used for communication, all of these things involve interaction. So 100% of the Internet is used for communication. Services, E-commerce, Entertainment all involve some forms of communication. Even porn involves communication, believe it or not.

Even though this is true, I still have to disagree with you for various reasons.

First, communication is defined as "The imparting or exchanging of information or news." Now, ass and titties aren't necessarily "information" or "news", but smooth, round body parts that excite the male homosapien.

Second, your brain does communicate with your hands via electrical impulses in order for you to perform masturbation, but the for want to do more like is not acceptable. I'm trying desperately to get you to understand where I'm coming from with this bro, but you have to meet me halfway and form a compromise.

I'm not going to deign to vote as I'm firmly against the idea that my subjective experience would have any idea what the greater majority of people use the Internet for. The whole "porn" thing is mostly tongue-in-cheek, there's a goodly amount of traffic there, but I'd be surprised if it was really the greater majority activity versus, say, email.
